Meet our new Internal Sales Manager

On 1st July 2019, Julien joined the Joice and Hill team in the UK as a management trainee in layer distribution.

Focusing principally on the planning and order management side of the business, Julien will now take over responsibility for the internal sales desk, stepping bravely into Josie’s shoes!

After working as a Production Manager in the South of France, Julien was appointed to work on a Hendrix Genetics ERP, spending 4 years as part of a team implementing an advanced production/sales/purchasing software.

Gaining personal and professional experience

At the end of the project, Julien was keen return to his previous role in live operations and sales and, if possible, to live outside France to gain personal and professional experience abroad. During the ERP project implementation stage at Joice & Hill, Julien worked closely with the team for several months, getting to know the company very well in the process.

“I was offered the job by Nick in anticipation of Josie’s retirement. So I accepted the challenge and we moved to Peterborough.”

Julien is looking forward to returning to live operations and sales. He brings experience from his time in the ERP team, knowledge of Mtech, an education in agriculture, and production management experience from Caringa Sud Ouest. His partner, Audrey, has re-located with Julien to Peterborough where they will enjoy the amenities of a large city with good links to London and the rest of the UK.
