The National Egg & Poultry Awards is a prestigious awards ceremony backed by the British Poultry Council (BPC) and the British Egg Industry Council (BEIC); to honour and reflect achievement, excellence, and best practice in the sector, while promoting the industry and provide networking opportunities for sector members.

The National Egg & Poultry Awards began as a means of recognising and rewarding excellence in the UK egg and poultry industry, with a view to celebrating the whole sector.

In awarding the Hatchery of the Year award to Joice and Hill the judges concluded that “Operating modern breeding and hatching facilities, and constant investment in advanced facilities, ensure Joice and Hill has the capacity to hatch and deliver consistently high volumes of healthy and productive chicks, with the lowest possible environmental impact”.
