Penny Humphrey Retires From Joice and Hill

Joice and Hill announced the retirement of Penny Humphrey, at the end of February.

Penny retired from her position as Area Technical Sales Manager for Mid West & Wales, after 16 years with the company. She is one of the industries most respected figures, and will continue to offer advice to producers, in advisory and consultancy roles.

After a long career working for a large packer and producer, Penny joined Joice and Hill in 2008 as Area Technical Sales Manager, where her enthusiasm, expertise and hard work quickly earned the trust of our customers.

As Peter Cumbers, Sales Director of Joice and Hill commented “We will all miss Penny for her knowledge and experience, as well as her willingness to go the extra mile for our clients, and we wish her well”.

At The BFREPA 2022 awards, the award for Employee of the Year went to Penny Humphrey. The citation recognised “her outstanding practical and honest advice to producers” and went on “Penny has been involved in the poultry industry all her life and has become a true asset for the industry, dedicating herself to looking after the best interests of producers and flocks”.
