Newly Released Videos Reveal Producers' Confidence In The Future Of White Egg Layers - And The Dekalb White In Particular!

Free range egg producers and packers are notoriously camera shy, so we were particularly pleased when three of our customers “volunteered” to go on record.

Originally filmed for use at the BFREPA Live event in November these short clips bring home the real, day to day experience of managing white birds and their exceptional performance.

As the presentation at BFREPA explained, if the UK follows the US and most of Europe into becoming predominantly a white egg market, everyone stands to win – with potential economic, welfare and sustainability gains.

Thanks to Helen, Ed and Gordon for their participation.

In this first video Helen Ridley focuses on both the performance advantages, and the significant behavioural differences she has noticed in white flocks.
