Delighted to take part in an epic fund raiser

Riding in aid of Cancer Research UK

In October, Nick Bailey of Joice and Hill joined a team of 13 brave amateur cyclists and support riders, including Stonegate employees, suppliers, and producers, in a monumental charity challenge.

Riding in aid of Cancer Research UK, the intrepid volunteers faced the long-distance challenge of cycling 623 km over two and a half days – from Lacock in Wiltshire to Paris – via Portsmouth and Caen.

Arranged by Stonegate Farmers the challenge has already raised £13,796.00 and the Just Giving Page is still open here:

Commenting on the experience, former triathlon and Iron Man competitor, Nick said “I am so pleased to have shared this daunting marathon cycle with such a great team. It wasn’t easy contending with short daylight hours, and a near biblical deluge on the second day – but we made it!”
